About the Theatre
Dariya Kononenko Dance Theatre was intended to be a theatre of classical and modern choreography headed by Dariya Kononenko, a young choreographer, where repertoire and artistic priorities are determined by the most interesting experiments and courageous interpretation of the internationally known plots, modernization and improvement of forms and language of a modern dance. Creation of the ENCHANTRESS Choreographic Performance (Mystery Show) is a significant event in modern art life which Ukraine may be really proud of. The troupe unites 14 dancers who are real professionals of classical and modern dance (modern jazz, modern plastic arts, contact improvisation, etc.) New Concert Program called FORTUNE GHOSTS makes an audience have a sense of motion from inside. A spectator feels and realizes physical engagement in the events that take place on the stage. The effect of active imagination is available, a contact with the senses by establishing connection between emotions and motion. Therefore, spectators analyze themselves, whereas mental and physical harmony is recreated. | |
