Despite the fact that aromatherapy played a prominent role in huge ancient civilizations nowadays this cannot be perceived as a turn back to a traditional medicine of the past. This is rather a new spiral coil characterized by the use of already known and tested for ages knowledge about aromas and the introduction of a new one, based on a higher scientific level which is in turn based on thorough knowledge of a human biology. For today, scientists conducted a range of experiments with the use of essential oils that proved an effective influence on the nervous system, found out considerable sedative, bacteriostatic and hypertensive properties, and also the ability to change the breathing intensity. Due to such investigations, effective methods of depression and hysteria treatment by essential oils were offered. The modern example of aromatherapy use in everyday life is the installation of smell metering device in the controller's hall of the Ukrainian air-port "Borispol" that have considerably improved the working capacity of air-controllers. The representatives of the Japanese firm of "Simizu" also suggest solving the problem of labour productivity and reducing the level of stressing situations by smells. After the strained working day a typist or programmer are recommended to breath with an aromaform which contains a certain smell and takes away a fatigue. Research conducted by a research firm showed that amount of errors made by a programmer decreases by 20 to 54 % depending on the smell of a certain essential oil. In world practice, especially in France, Great Britain, an the United States, aromaforms are widely used based on the essential oils of plants, which have refreshing and restorative action, help to quickly take off a fatigue and somnolence after having meal, and promote a mental concentration. After hard, exhausting working day it is recommendable to take a bath with the hot water adding aromatic substances for relaxation. In the cases of heightened excite it not necessarily to drink a somnolent, because it is enough to inflict special relaxing essential oils on a face and a body. When evaporating, they help to slowly and quietly fall asleep, and spend the night without heavy dreams. The principle of essential oils action is recently referred to their ability to modify the electromagnetic field of a person and stabilize the function of the nervous system. Exactly these features of aromatic matters determine their significant influence on functioning of the nervous system and the hormonal status. The action of essential oils is even compared with the effect of hormones. A uniquely high penetrable ability of essential oils predetermines a quick therapeutic influence of aromaforms made based on them and used externally as inhalations, baths and creams. The properties and methods of essential oils processing from citrus species are known [RU �25483�, �11�9/00, publ. 2006.04.27], but their medical action is limited enough and does not engulf the whole spectrum of psycho-somatic problems. The useful model is based on the task of creation of a particular means, which would be of natural origin and would have the additional informatively-powerful loading through the selection of components, which combination would facilitate the obtaining of sacral properties by the orange essential oil and also achievement of high efficiency and increase in prophylactic and medical effect of orange essential oil. The task is solved in the way that we create sacral oil which contains an oil of orange and additionally contains black flint which is added during the hydro-distillation of already prepared orange essential oil. Orange oil. The oil is got from the fruit of sweet orange (Citrus aurantium var. dulce L, Citrus sinensis L Osb.), which is cultivated in Southern Italy (Sicily and Calabria), and also in the USA, Brazil, Spain and Israel. In particular, there was a group of 30 patients under our supervision, including men and women of 18-27 years old, who suffered arterial hypertension with a critical process. The levels of pressure were fluctuating on average from 120/80 mm hg to 150/100 mm hg, and during the crisis - 185/100 mm hg on average. The frequency of crises was 1-2 times per week on average. All the patients were using the sacral oil at a background of symptomatic therapy in the following way: 2 inhalations per day with application of aromatic lamp and anointment of temporal areas 3 times per day during 3 months. At hypertensive crises, anointment of temporal areas for every 15 minutes and massaging of distal phalanxes of fingers are needed before the copying of the crisis. The control inspection and anamnesis collection after 3 months of treatment has shown the following: all the patients suggested the subjective improvement of the state and feel. Objectively, the middle levels of arterial pressure went down, and accounted for 120/80-130/100 mm hg; the number of crises went down and accounted for 1-2 times per month, they became less regular and easier to be taken off by symptomatic facilities. The psycho-emotional state became better and the working capacity recommenced. The patients were recommended to prolong the treatment in future for the prophylaxis applying the aromatic lamp for 3-4 times per week, massage of fingers with sacral oil and greasing of temporal areas at crises. Thus, the sacral oil has the wide spectrum of therapeutic and cosmetic properties that are worth to be applied in medical practice. | |
